Kafalah Foundation is a non-governmental organization established based on not-for-profit purposes under the Companies Act, 2017 with registration number 0227911. The License to form NPO has also been granted to Kafalah on 22nd February 2023 with registration number 1732. The organization aims to provide relief services for the betterment of humanity at large generally and in particular through enabling their access to financial resources for improving their livelihood via various means including enhancing capacity as well as assisting the target population in creating additional means of improved livelihood.
Kafalah Foundation focuses on mobilizing /organizing and training /enabling communities for collective actions promoting sustainable development through agriculture, livelihood initiatives, and inclusive finance (Islamic microfinance) and achieving it through promoting values of civic society. Work for youth engaging them in positive efforts like skills development, green Pakistan, and work for environment protection.
We aim to select one village/UC and carry out all the interventions that will make the village emerge as a sustainable model village– we choose a village based on properly conducting a study survey. Then, we mobilize the local communities and work with them on all necessary interventions to make the villages sustainable and we want to see how much our efforts in the selected villages are increasing the country’s GDP. Then we will present it as a model village to other public, private, and welfare organizations and encourage them to do the same in other villages/UCs which will not only bring prosperity to the local community but also increase the GDP. With this, the country will also be on the path of development
Because of rising inflation and unemployment in the country, we are continuously expanding our areas of operation through an integrated development approach. We are expanding our geographical coverage focusing on the grassroots as per the needs and current socio-economic situation.
