Kafalah Backyard Poultry is a community-based livelihood initiative that was first implemented as a pilot model by Kafalah. After successfully testing and refining the model at the organizational level, it has proven to be both sustainable and impactful. Building on this success, Kafalah is now replicating the model within local communities to support household-level income generation, improve nutrition, and strengthen food security. The initiative empowers families—especially women—by providing practical skills, resources, and ongoing support for long-term self-reliance.
Kafalah Foundation is a non-governmental organization established based on not-for-profit purposes under the Companies Act, 2017, with registration number 0227911.
